At Poplar Homestead and The Knotty Poplar, our mission is to support Alaska’s hardworking farming community, which is the backbone of our state’s self-sufficiency. The produce and products from local farms not only surpass the quality of those from the lower 48, but they are also vital to maintaining healthy living in a world where supply chains can be unpredictable and shortages are common. By milling and purchasing fiber from local farms, we aim to support these farmers with an additional income stream to support their efforts. We are proud to be an Alaskan company, supporting Alaskans in all that we do.
